Welcome to Whitney Bloomfield Learning Center! Nothing in this life is more precious than our children. As one of the very first preschools in the State of Michigan, we've cared for and nurtured young minds for more than 45 years. Our proven methods and tender care have served thousands of young children through the years, and has helped prepare them for a life beyond preschool. It is a privilege and honor to care for and help nurture your child, a trust we care deeply about.
We nurture and instruct children from infancy through 5 years. Our Montessori method of teaching focuses on understanding and mastering concepts. It develops self discipline and concentration and utilizes a child’s natural curiosity and guides the child in four basic areas of learning:
Teachers carefully present a new lesson each day. Children are then free to choose their own work activities. The gratification that comes with completing and mastering a task will instill pride, satisfaction, and inner joy in your child. This joy of learning will enrich them their whole life.
