Our next unit of study will be on plants. We will be learning about the parts of a tree and flower.

We will be talking about seeds and plants and what they need to make them grow. We will be planting a few seeds of our own to watch grow!

Ms. Kathy’s Montessori Classroom

Theme: Plants

This month we’ll be learning all about plants. We’ll learn what a seed needs to grow, we’ll plant some beans, and we’ll learn the parts of a flower. We’ll also learn about planting a garden and talk about the different kinds of plants we can grow.

Ms. Michele’s Toddler Classroom

We have been having so much fun going for walks down the nature trails; they love the ride! It is exciting to see the turtles, ducks, and birds. We also have a red-winged black bird that talks to us when we are out on our playground.

This month we will read books and do projects around farm animals to get us ready for our trip next month to Hess Hathaway. We hope to see you at the parent brunch, we are working hard on our project for you.
